The Saint Hubert Agricultural Company was born in 2021 from Roberta’s passion for nature and animals. Saint Hubert is a dream come true. In the land of the Four Provinces, about an hour from Genoa, Pavia, Milan, Piacenza, and Alessandria, lies our farm, named after the bishop of the Ardennes, the patron saint of dogs, hunters, and foresters. Saint Hubert is a philosophy of life, far from the rhythms of the city and immersed in nature. It is the philosophy we want to convey to our guests and customers, it is the philosophy with which we approach agriculture and breeding.

Our history
I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I recall being fascinated by their behavior from a very young age. As a child, I devoured every available documentary, read books, and collected figurines. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but life took me in different directions. I realized that what fascinated me most was the study of behavior. I graduated first in educational sciences, then in psychology, and finally in ethology. I also obtained a second-level university master’s degree in criminology. I studied human behavior, animal behavior, and deviant behavior. Today, my life revolves around animals. I live with five dogs, nineteen goats, and ten chickens. In addition to all the wild animals that visit us daily, allowing us to admire them in all their majesty. In addition to my work as a farmer, I am a PhD student at the University of Turin, where I research the use of detection dogs for the conservation of large carnivores.
